Dr. Jason Anthony Prendergast is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor – Advanced Certified (LCPC-AC). He holds a Doctorate in Pastoral Psychology, a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health, and an MBA in Business Leadership from Liberty University.
A respected clinician, author, and speaker, Dr. Prendergast is a Clinical Supervisor and professional member of the National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA).

Natalia Fernandes - Operations Coordinator
Natalia Fernandes is Edify Counseling Group’s Operations Coordinator, bringing strong organization, professionalism, and clear communication to every aspect of the practice. She oversees scheduling, insurance coordination, and client support with efficiency and confidence, helping ensure daily operations run smoothly and clients feel supported from the start.
As a dedicated mom of three, Natalia has developed exceptional multitasking, problem-solving, and composure under pressure. These strengths enhance both her leadership and the overall client experience. Her commitment to excellence and ability to create structure in fast-paced environments make her an invaluable part of the Edify team.
Gabriela Fonseca - Clinical Coordinator, Counseling Intern
Gabriela Fonseca is the Clinical Coordinator and a Counseling Intern at Edify Counseling Group. She works with adults, parents, and families, creating a calm, supportive space to process anxiety, relationship stress, and everyday life challenges.
In her clinical role, Gabriella conducts biopsychosocial assessments, parent intakes, and routine parent check-ins to ensure families feel supported and informed throughout care. As Clinical Coordinator, she helps facilitate scheduling and client communication and is often one of the first points of contact at Edify, offering professionalism, warmth, and thoughtful attention to detail.

With over 15 years of experience, she helps clients navigate life’s challenges by identifying patterns, gaining insight, and developing tools for growth. Offering therapy exclusively through secure telehealth sessions, she specializes in anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, self-esteem, family conflict, and women’s issues. Her approach is collaborative and grounded in trust, respect, and understanding—meeting each client where they are and helping them move forward at their own pace. Dominique Hardy, LCSW
Dominique earned her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Florida International University and her Bachelor’s from the University of Miami — Go Canes. She has extensive experience supporting youth and families affected by trauma, including survivors of human trafficking and those in the foster care system.
Dominique has also worked with incarcerated adults, providing therapeutic support to promote healing and successful reentry. She is passionate about helping individuals build resilience, reclaim their strength, and move forward with purpose.

Trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), she provides both virtual and in-person counseling to help clients heal, grow, and thrive.
Michelle Johnson, LCSW
Michelle Johnson, LCSW is a licensed therapist in Florida with 13 years of professional work experience. She has experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, parenting issues, anger management, & coping with life changes.
She works with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

Sandra Key
Clinical Intern
Sandra Key is a multidimensional professional at Edify Counseling Group with a strong background in human behavior, client service, and holistic support. Originally from Brazil and now a proud American citizen, she brings over 20 years of experience working with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Sandra holds a degree in Sports Medicine, Physiology, and Sports Psychology from Keiser University and a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Psychology. Her work integrates psychological insight, the mind–body connection, and faith-informed care to support personal growth and emotional well-being. Fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, Sandra is deeply committed to serving multicultural communities with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.

Judith Hodge is a clinical intern with a strong interest in holistic wellness, personal development, and supporting individuals and families through meaningful life transitions. She brings a thoughtful, grounded approach to her work, emphasizing the connection between mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
With experience in education and mentoring, Judith values personalized growth and believes in meeting individuals where they are while empowering them to build healthier, more fulfilling lives. Her background allows her to approach counseling with curiosity, patience, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey.
