Supervision

Supervision You Can Count On

Clinical training at Edify is led under the direction of Dr. Jason-Anthony K. Prendergast, LMHC, NCC, LCPC-Advanced Certified, Founder and Clinical Director.

• Florida Qualified SupervisorsFor practicum and internship students, and post-graduate Registered Interns working toward Florida licensure.
• NCCA SupervisionFor those pursuing licensure as a Clinical Pastoral Counselor or certification as a Temperament Therapist through the NCCA and Edify University.

Who Should Apply

Eligibility

• Graduate studentsEnrolled in a counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, or related graduate program.
• Placement readyApproved by your program to begin field placement for the term you're applying for.
• Student liability insuranceActive professional liability coverage before your first client session.
• Registered InternsFlorida Registered Interns seeking supervision toward full licensure are welcome to apply.

3. Site agreementWe complete your school's site paperwork with your field placement office.
4. Onboarding and orientationGet set up on our systems, policies, documentation standards, and the Edify approach to care.
5. Begin seeing clientsStart your caseload with supervision and support from day one.
